The Steve Wilkos Show

The Steve Wilkos Show (NBCUniversal) — a polygraph examiner and lie detector hired for us television. Sole polygraph examiner across eleven seasons.

American network television runs to a hard clock with an audience in the room. A polygraph segment has to be rigged, run and read inside it, and there is no appetite for a reset because the sensors were fitted badly.

Eleven seasons as the sole examiner on a show is a different kind of credential from a one-off booking. It means the questions get locked before the floor, the contributor is briefed properly, and the examiner can deliver a read to camera under studio conditions without stalling the segment.
