BBC Radio 1

BBC Radio 1 (BBC) — a polygraph examiner and lie detector hired for sport & broadcast. Live on the morning show.

Live radio removes the safety net entirely. There is no edit, so anything the examination produces goes out as it happens and the segment has to be planned to survive that.

Questions are agreed in advance and stop conditions are agreed with the producer before transmission. The examiner works to the clock in the studio, not to the length the examination would ideally take.
