Streaming release campaigns use a polygraph the way a chat show does: as a device that produces an unrehearsed moment from talent who are otherwise deep in a press schedule and fully media-trained.

For that to work the examination has to be quick to set up and genuinely unscripted, while staying inside what the campaign can safely put out. We agree the questions with the publicity team in advance and flag anything that would produce a clip the production cannot use.
